A down-side of blogging
I've not blogged for a while, because I've been distracted by some things recently. Things I have disliked about blogging. Pet peeves, some of them.
I think I liked blogging more before people read my blog. Or at least before I knew people read my blog. Somehow (I'm not surprised) blogging at UEN has developed a political flavor. I'm not really that comfortable knowing that people read my blog assuming that it has a political agenda behind it, or that I blog about things I'm afraid to say to someone's face. Sometimes I think that's what's going on. Maybe I'm paranoid.
I just want to write about how I think and feel about things. I think maybe having people I work with read my blog might not always be a good thing. I don't want to think about the ramifications of my blog on work relationships, or have people read into my blog what I supposedly really mean, what they think my hidden agenda really is.. Maybe I need another blog. Maybe I should find a diary with a lock on it, and write there instead.
Continuing...
