On the road to Oregon
I am headed to Portland, Oregon this afternoon with my family, and my brother Dave and his family. We are driving, he with his $1,800 1977 Dodge motor home, that hasn't been driven further than 20 miles since he bought it a few months ago; and me with my 5.4L Expedition and tow rope--just in case.
I've visited Portland (well, Oregon more specifically) many times with my family, usually staying on the coast just west of Portland (I've actually not spent as much time as I'd like in Portland itself). But I've not been south at all, except for a week in Eugene a few years ago.
We are driving through Nevada and northern California, and will start at Klamath Falls and Crater Lake and drive up the coast from there. We'll only get to spend a few days in Portland towards the end of next week, but we'll see some incredible places on the way.
I am taking the Verizon CDMA card, so I may be able to blog along the way. If I'm not too busy enjoying Oregon.
