Portland at last

We've seen some incredible scenery along the Oregon coast on our way to Portland (where we are tonight). It was very cold, mostly in the 50's and 60's along the coast. And windy. But that's pretty normal.

Last night we stayed at the KOA in Waldport, OR. I've never stayed at a KOA, but this one was pretty nice. Right on the coast, just under the Alsea Bridge. As if that wasn't cool enough, they had a computer room with free Internet access, and as if that wasn't enough, they also had free wireless (802.11b) Internet access from anywhere in the campground. I also had access to the 1xRTT network finally. I was able to reconnect to the virtual world and upload the 158 pictures I've taken so far (I tried via dial-up a few nights ago, but only got about 30% uploaded before the connection failed during the night). I might have to try KOA again sometime.
