Vacation planning

I love to travel with my family, as much as I can. It's one of the many benefits I enjoy working at UEN, that I can actually take vacation time without worrying about losing my job, unlike many previous jobs I've had. I don't really like traveling for work, unless I can take my family along. That's another benefit of UEN over other jobs, that I don't have to travel very frequently.

This summer we are taking several family trips. We already went to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and Napa, California. This week, we are spending a few days at Wolf Creek resort in Eden, Utah.

This week, we are planning trips for later this summer. We'll be driving to Portland, OR at the end of this month for a family wedding, but we'll go a week early to visit Klamath and Crater Lake and the Oregon shore. And in September we are planning to spend a week or so in Acadia National Park.

We have a lot of fun planning vacations. We spend a lot of time learning about the area, searching for good places to stay and fun things to do. It's almost as much fun to plan the trip, as it is to go on the trip.

Some day, I think I'd really like to start a travel agency that would plan vacations for families, the way we plan our own vacations. I think it would be fun and rewarding, to help other families have as much fun traveling as we do.
